SEO for other than google

I believe term SEO is famous because it related to google search engine. Some plugin especially for wordpress blog are designed for this. But I've never observed how it is useful for other search engine than google. How actually yahoo, msn, etc, reacts to all the SEO tricks that we applied to our site/blog.

I have a strong feeling that it is like "when, the King is pleased, every one is pleased". All SEO tricks if they work with Google and you have caught the eye, then no worries for the rest. Other search engines follow.

We all know that google is #1 SE, Most of my traffic is coming from google, That's why for me ranking on Google SERP is more important to than ranking on other SE SERP..

I think whatever technique we applied to rank in google, its same for other search engines like yahoo, bing and others.
