I'm working in an embedded environment. My system usually has to connect with an EVM board for testing or development. Recently, my pendrive failed when I was using it in my system. Previously also I have used. But, it failed after that. Few of my colleagues also faced the same problem. They tell that, our pendrive slowly gets corrupted if we use it in a system that frequently connects with an EVM or development board. I'd like to know, whether this is an 'old wive's tale' or is that really true, so that I could atleast save my new pendrive? Thanks in advance.
