I have been interested in taking photographs for quite some time now, ever since buying disposable cameras to take pictures off landscape, plants and trees, and owning a digital camera for a while. At the moment looking to buy a digital slr with a 18-70mm lense. Considering this will be my first slr i want to start at least mid range, and have the 70mm in range. I have been reading reviews on it, and seems okay for quality though i'm subject to change upon viewing and researching other options.
My current camera is the fujifilm finepix z1.
I have had for 3 years and it's definetly taken it's toll after that length. After the first two years i dropped it and ive had masking tape over the battery charger and xd picture card, plus the flash has been dead since then. It can still take good quality pictures in the daylight as taken last week. (see below) Though doesn't take any shots during the night for obvious reason.
Anyone has any experience with slr cameras? Any pros? Cons? What's your experience like with photography in general? Do you enjoy taking pictures? What do you like taking pictures of?
