Hello,
I'm hoping I can receive some expert guidance. Firstly, my lawyer has me well educated on spamming law and e-mail farming law as it applies to an e-mail marketing campaign. The law in Canada states that professional(not personal) e-mail addresses may be 'e-mail extracted'(farmed in techy talk) using an e-mail extraction software as long as all of the recipients are related to the product being marketed in the e-mail. The recipient must also have an Opt-Out option at the bottom of the e-mail. And the website for the product needs to be assigned a privacy officer. My first objective is full compliance. I'm aware the law regarding this area of marketing is slightly different in Canada than in the United States.

I'm hoping for some expert input regardless of where it comes from(i'm truelly a rookie!!). I have several hundred websites representing companies in a specific industry. I need individual e-mail addresses pulled out of those sites. The e-mails are at times 'buried' in the site. What I mean by that, pages that say 'Find a salesperson in your area'...database of e-mails is deeper inside, etc.

There are literally hundreds of 'E-mail Extractor' programs  being sold online. It's unreal. I couldn't believe how many. Being sold from $10 to $1000! I'm lost! ..and don't want to waste the few marketing dollars I have.

If there is someone that has used these programs in the past and has some experience, I would greatly appreciate any guidance possible!

Best regards,

I'm not totally sure what do you need.

Do you want to harvest e-mail addresses from these web sites?

The internet, and computers in general, needs many things - more spammers certainly is not one though. I would suggest marketing and advertising by "proper" means, instead of causing problems for people and the web infrastructure.

Email Extractor is a powerful, fast and reliable utility intended to extract email addresses from various sources, as for instance, online web pages, local files, clipboard, plain text, Outlook Express address book, and other. This tool is indispensable when building your customers opt-in list from your mailbox files. Email Extractor retrieves all valid email addresses. It creates an output file containing valid email addresses only, without any duplicates.
