Unmanaged Code ?

Unmanaged code is the Code that runs outside of the common language runtime; in common terminology, code that does not "target" the .NET runtime. So what is meant for is all of the other languages are unmanaged ? Any suggessions?

It its more general than that.... regardless of language or platform, managed code runs under the management of a virtual machine (or environment), unmanaged code is executed directly by the machine's CPU
