how to read data from a page in Java?

how to read data from a page in Java?

I am developing a application in which I will read a file from internet.
The file format to read is most probaly .xml .
I dont know how I can achieve this?
help needed.

u need to read the whole file of just the inputted tex from texboxes etc.
