HI , ive got a HW  using visual basic, ok they want us to  open a form and leave an empty text box & next to it BUTTON1, when we type our  name in the TEXTBOX and click on BUTTON1 , an input box should appear and say HI SARA<<4 example...im kinda new at this, so should i write the code like this: x=inputbox("hi&x")

if not PLZZZZZZZ HELP :S

Ive not used VB for quite some years,

In the IDE when you click on the button it will transport you to its handing code. You can do something like

InputBox(Text1.Text, "Solution", "1", 100, 100)

assuming your text box is called Text1

thx 4 ur help....i tried it a dif way, this is what i did :
Dim x as string = Inputbox("enter your name")
Msgbox("welcom " & x)

and it turned out ok Smiley

try it..
