 What are Database Joins? What are types of joins?

Database joins conditions are very useful in Sql Server. Joins returns the Data in very effective manner with high performance. I like to work with joins. SQL has Inner Join, Left Outer Join, Right Outer Join , Full Join, Equi join and self join.

SELECT CITIES.COUNTRY, CITIES.CITY_NAME, REGION
FROM Countries
LEFT OUTER JOIN Cities
ON CITIES.COUNTRY_ISO_CODE = COUNTRIES.COUNTRY_ISO_CODE
WHERE REGION = 'Asia'

Example of inner join

SELECT * FROM CATEGORIES C INNER JOIN
PRODUCTS P ON P.CATEGORYID = C.CATEGORYID

Joins are used to join the two or more tables by using the relationship between certain columns.
In Sql there are following types of joins are available-
Join
Left join
Right join
Full join
