Have you ever wondered about why there are no options to download a video that you buffer? May be there is no option for it in that video website but there is a way to do it in your browser. Follow the simple steps given below to download a buffering video either be it YouTube or Metacafe or Dailymotion or any other video website.
Downloading a video in Firefox:1. Go to
www.keepvid.com2. Drag the Button "KEEPVID Bookmarklet" to the bookmarks option which is at the top right side of your browser and drop it there.
That's it. Whenever you want to download any video, go to that page and click the "keep it" button in the bookmarks option.
3. After clicking the "keep it" button, you will be taken to KeepVid.com and you will be asked the format in which you wish to download the video.
4. Click on the desired format and your video will start downloading.
Downloading a video in Google Chrome:1. Go to
www.keepvid.com2. Write the link of the desired video into the "URL" text field.
3. Click the "download" button.
4. The Java applet will start loading. If you do not have Java in your system, it will ask you to download it.
5. Download Java. It may take minutes (for slower connection).
6. After downloading, install Java in your system.
7. Now go to keepvid.com and type in the URL and select "Run" in the prompt box (if it appears).
8. Select the format in which you want to download.
9. Then, click download and enjoy!
The best thing about this is that you can also download it in the MP3 format, but I'm not sure that it works in Mozilla Firefox, but it works well in Google Chrome!
