what Visual Basic version? (help pls) |

Sorry I was not sure where else to ask this on this forum but:
I want to start learning visual basic to use it for work general work purposes, trouble is I don't know what version to start learning. I look around and see visual basic 6 then visual basic 2010 and loads more, I thought it would be best to start learning the 2010 version which would be obviously updated but then I get told its not as good blah blah blah it confusing.
Pls someone help me out and tell me from experience what the best version of visual basic is to start learning. Thx.

Visual Basic 2010 is nothing but VB.Net 2010. Its far more advanced that VB 6.0. Therefore the wise would be learn the latest on i.e. VB.Net 2010 rather than learning old version VB 6.0.
