So i have a Database, the path to which is S:/database. xls. . . . . . and i have another excel sheet wherein i want to record a macro which exports the data from that "database. xls" sheet to another workbook so that people can view that data without opening the "database. xls". . . . . . .

i tried recording a macro which on pressing the command button ( or pressing the shortcut key for running macro) opens database. xls copies the data, open another workbook and then pastes the data and then closes the database. xls. . . . . . .

however when i do that the problem is that i get a question that do u want to copy a huge amount of data to the clopboard ETC. . . . . .

I have VBA code in Excel that imports an access query into Excel, performs some calculations on it, sorts it, groups it and adds subtotals.  Is there a way to export this new data into a new excel file, without including all the code and command buttons? I need to send it to customers.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi been looking around a bit and could not really find a good solution to, with VBA, export two worksheets from a workbook into a new workbook and save it in a predefined directory.
