XML Page Cache
January 11, 2008, 05:35:32 AM
Hi,
I have a page coded using ASP ( Classic ASP ) that use XML file.
On the screen data is displyed using XML files.
How can i prevent this page to be cached from browser?
The problem is the page is displyed once the user is logged in the system. If I logout the system and hit back button of the browser the page with XML data is displayed because browser cache. I dont want this page to be displayed once the user is logged off the system.
any help will be appriciated.
Thanks in advance

The back button will always use the browsers cache. It can not be prevented in the websites code.
You will have to refresh the page or go to the url of the page that your talking about rather then use the back button.
Try it with any forum. Log out and then use the back button. You will apear to be logged in.
